Returns
How to return a product:
If you would like to send a product back, you will need a Return
Materials Authorization number (RMA#) issued by PicturePhone Inc.
To obtain an RMA number please fill out the RMA form on
our website.
Return Policy
PicturePhone Inc. does not accept returns on special order
items, software, services, custom items, furniture, display products
including LCD & Plasmas. Also, products that are
discontinued or obsolete from the manufacturer. Resellers have
30 days from date of invoice to request a non-DOA (dead on arrival)
return. Restocking charges of up to 25% may be applied to non
defective returns. A minimum 25% restocking fee will be charged
for all returns older than 30 days. Products need to be in “LIKE-NEW” condition
to pass return inspection. Items must be returned with the original
manufacturer's packaging, both inside and outside must be clean
and undamaged. No marks of any kind should be shown on the packaging,
this includes writing, stamps or additional shipping labels.
Returns must be complete with all contents (manuals, cables,
warranty cards, static bags, etc) that the client originally
received upon delivery. All products must be shipped to PicturePhone
in protective over-pack. For Resellers on credit terms, credit
will be applied to your account when the product is received
and it has passed inspection by PicturePhone. Collateral in the
form of a new purchase order is required on all advance replacements.
For Resellers on C.O.D. or Credit Card terms, replacement product
will be sent upon receipt of product by PicturePhone. Or, collateral
in the form of pre-payment is required on all advance replacements.
Important information regarding RMA numbers:
- A Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number is required
for all returns.
- RMA’s are issued at the sole discretion of PicturePhone
Inc.
- An RMA number is a return privilege that is valid for 30 days.
The issuance of an RMA number allows the return of a specific
item(s) to PicturePhone for examination only. An RMA does not
guarantee credit or replacement. All RMA’s are subject
to inspection prior to final disposition by PicturePhone.
- Mis-shipped
and or overages items must be claimed within 30 days of PicturePhone’s
invoice date.
- The RMA number must be visible on all returns. Do not write
on the original product box.
- The Reseller is responsible for all
freight charges when returning products.
- PicturePhone is NOT responsible
for lost or damaged packages, please insure the package and obtain
a tracking number as a safeguard. The Reseller is ultimately
responsible for the condition of the returned items. These policies
should be communicated to all end-user customers.
- All products
must be returned as represented at the time the RMA was requested.
The Reseller is responsible for any cost incurred by PicturePhone
due to misrepresentation of the condition of a returned item.
